Code of Conduct & Ethics Policy

1. Introduction

The purpose of this Code of Conduct is to establish and maintain a safe, respectful, and positive environment within all Chantilly Forever FC/BC sanctioned programs, activities, practices, games, travel events, and club functions.

All participants including players, parents/guardians, coaches, staff, and spectators, are expected to demonstrate behavior consistent with the values and philosophy of Chantilly Forever FC/BC at all times.

Participation in the club signifies agreement to uphold this policy.

2. Chantilly Forever FC/BC Philosophy

Chantilly Forever FC/BC believes sport is an ideal vehicle to develop:

  • Physical fitness
  • Discipline
  • Sportsmanship
  • Leadership
  • Accountability
  • Fellowship

Our focus is long-term athlete development, character building, and creating high-level opportunities — not simply game results.

At the beginning of each season, coaches, parents, and players are required to acknowledge and agree to this Code of Conduct.

3. Coach Code of Conduct

Coaches are leaders of our culture and are expected to:

  • Follow the Fair Play philosophy, promoting opportunity aligned with commitment and standards
  • Respect both the rules and the spirit of the game
  • Encourage respect for opposition players and coaches
  • Respect officials and refrain from public criticism
  • Treat all players with dignity and professionalism
  • Emphasize development, effort, and quality of experience over winning
  • Promote positive teammate interaction and intervene immediately when negative behaviors arise
  • Maintain zero tolerance for profanity, bullying, harassment, abuse, discrimination, violence, or substance use
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with players and parents
  • Be receptive to constructive dialogue regarding team development

4. Parent / Guardian Code of Conduct

Parents and guardians play a critical role in supporting the culture of Chantilly Forever FC/BC.

By registering with Chantilly Forever FC/BC, parents/guardians agree to:

Conduct & Behavior

  1. Refrain from verbal abuse, foul language, gestures, or negative behavior toward players, coaches, referees, officials, or spectators.
  2. Refrain from disputing coach or referee decisions before, during, or after games and practices.
  3. Refrain from any form of physical aggression, threats, bullying, harassment, or discrimination.
  4. Avoid alcohol, drugs, or tobacco use during Chantilly Forever FC/BC programs and events.
  5. Accept responsibility for restitution if their child causes property damage.


Communication & Protocol

  1. Follow the 24-Hour Rule before addressing concerns following games or events.
  2. Address concerns first with the Head Coach, followed by the Technical Director if necessary.
  3. Do not approach coaches prior to games or training sessions.
  4. Do not approach the team until cool-down and post-game review are complete.
  5. Respect the Chantilly Forever FC/BC Playing Time Protocol.
  6. Refrain from sideline coaching — development decisions belong to club staff.
  7. Do not publicly critique coaching decisions, team performance, or individual player performance during games or practices.


Development Philosophy

  1. Support long-term development over short-term results.
  2. Foster teamwork and positive club culture.
  3. At U13+, encourage players to communicate directly with coaches regarding development and attendance.
  4. For U15–U18 travel events, support the requirement that players remain under club supervision at all times.
  5. Accept responsibility for any fines associated with their child’s misconduct.

5. Player Code of Conduct

Players represent Chantilly Forever FC/BC on and off the field/court and are expected to:

Respect & Sportsmanship

  • Show respect to teammates, opponents, coaches, officials, and spectators at all times
  • Refrain from verbal abuse, profanity, gestures, bullying, harassment, or discrimination
  • Accept referee and coach decisions without dispute
  • Avoid physical violence, threats, or actions intended to harm others

Behavior & Discipline

  • Refrain from horseplay or disruptive behavior
  • Follow all rules set by coaching staff and the Technical Director
  • Wear proper equipment and refrain from wearing jewelry or hats during games/practices
  • Avoid alcohol, drugs, and tobacco at all Chantilly Forever FC/BC events
  • Accept responsibility for any property damage (suspension may apply)


Travel & Representation

  • When traveling, only teammates, chaperones, and staff are permitted in a player’s hotel room
  • Remain with the team during sanctioned travel events
  • Represent Chantilly Forever FC/BC with professionalism in public and on social media


6. Social Media Policy

All members of Chantilly Forever FC/BC must:

  • Refrain from posting negative comments about teammates, coaches, officials, or opponents
  • Avoid inappropriate or harmful content while representing the club
  • Understand that online conduct reflects directly on Chantilly Forever FC/BC


7. Discipline & Enforcement

Chantilly Forever FC/BC reserves the right to impose disciplinary action for violations of this Code of Conduct.

Disciplinary measures may include:

  • Verbal warning
  • Written warning
  • Suspension
  • Removal from training or competition
  • Removal from the club


All decisions will be made in the best interest of athlete development, club culture, and safety.

8. Commitment

Chantilly Forever FC/BC is committed to building disciplined athletes, strong teams, and high-character individuals.

By participating in Chantilly Forever FC/BC programs, all members agree to uphold this Code of Conduct and represent the club with integrity, professionalism, and pride.
