In 2019, our U16 Boys traveled to Portugal for a high-performance international experience designed to expose players to elite European training and competition.

The team was based at the Desmor Sports Complex, a professional athlete training environment used by top-level players, providing first-class facilities for training, recovery, and preparation.

Players trained with SL Benfica, one of Portugal’s most prestigious clubs, gaining insight into world-class youth development standards and training methodology.

The tour also included competitive friendly matches against top Portuguese academies:

• Paços de Ferreira
• FC Famalicão

This unforgettable experience allowed players to test themselves in a demanding football culture, develop technically and tactically, and gain valuable international exposure both on and off the field.
